Matthew is a London based filmmaker. He has directed commercial/social content for ADIDAS, WAHL, NATIONAL LOTTERY, TOMMEE TIPPEE and WILLIAMS RACING.
Previously he worked as a producer at Blindeye films, making music promos for the likes of KASABIAN and commercials/social content for brands such as LENOVO, HSBC, and CIROC.
In 2015/16 he wrote and directed RUMBLE, which screened internationally at festivals including Phoenix, Sao Paulo and Manchester. In 2018 he directed, BETWEEN THE DEVIL AND THE DEEP BLUE SEA, which was part-funded by the BFI/Film London’s, London Calling Shorts Scheme.
In November 2018, his short western script, NO ORDINARY STRANGER, was selected as one of the 3 winners of the Shore Scripts screenwriting competition. It placed 2nd from over 3500 entries.
In November 2020, his western feature script, TWO WOLVES, reached the quarter-finals, and his TV pilot, UNDERDOG, reached the semi-finals of Shore Scripts screenwriting competition.
